Who am I?

I have a degree in System Analysis and Development and a post graduate diploma in Java Development. In 2013 I moved to Ireland where I worked on award winning digital agencies and start ups, hand crafting beautiful websites and applications. Recently, in 2016, I moved to New Zealand where I work as a Software Developer in an agile driven company that develops bespoken web applications. I can usually be found drinking or coding, sometimes doing both.

Here's how I can help you

Whether you are an existent business or someone with an idea, I am sure my broad and diversified range of skills can help you get where you want to be.

My main skills are PHP and JavaScript, but I can find my way around Python and Java applications. I'm experienced in a few PHP and JavaScript frameworks and my favourites are Laravel and ExpressJS. In my tool belt I carry experience in different tools (see what I did there?) like WordPress, CraftCMS, Silverstripe, Joomla, OpenCart and Magento.

Planning a database heavy application? No problem, I'm sure Elastisearch and/or Redis can help you out. Worried with your server infrastructure? My DevOps experience will come in handy.

Here's what I've been up to

Often on my free time I do what I do when I'm not on my free time: I code.

Hello World: PHP For Beginners

Written in 2015, my first ebook has sold a couple thousand copies and often appears amongst the top 10 technology books on Amazon.com.br. The book is available in both Portuguese and English and used to also be available on paperback edition.

Hello World: Cloud Computing for Developers

A small ebook I wrote in the end of 2015, its teachings are probably outdated. The book aimed on teaching the basics of Linux Administration and Cloud Computing, everything that a Web Developer needed to know to get started.

Giving back to the community

I'm aways trying to find time to give back to the open source community by submiting pull requests, reporting bugs and by handing out open source projects.
